Campervan Hire Terms and Conditions
1. Booking & Payment

The daily hire rate is £65 per day.

A £250 refundable security deposit is required and must be paid in full before collection of the vehicle.

Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal (details sent in confirmation email)

2. Security Deposit
-
The security deposit will be refunded within 5 working days of the campervan’s return, provided:
-
The van is returned on time.
-
There is no damage, loss, or evidence of misuse.
-
The vehicle is clean and with the same fuel level as collected.
-

Deductions may be made for:
-
Unpaid fines or charges
-
Excess mileage or cleaning fees
-
Repairs for any damage caused during the rental period
-

3. Driver Requirements
-
The main driver must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid UK or EU driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.

A copy of your driver’s license and proof of address will be required prior to hire.
-
Only approved drivers named on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

4. Insurance
-
You must arrange your own self-drive campervan insurance for the full hire period.
-
We recommend using JustKampers or a similar reputable provider.
-
Proof of active insurance is required before pickup.
-
Failure to provide valid insurance will result in cancellation without refund.

5. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
-
The campervan must not be:
-
Driven off-road or on restricted terrain.
-
Taken to festivals or events without prior written approval.
-
Used for towing, racing, or illegal purposes.
-

Mileage is limited to 150 per day; excess mileage may incur an additional fee.
-
The hirer must check tyre pressure, oil, and water levels regularly during hire.

6. Pickup and Return
-
Pickup Time: 3pm
-
Return Time: 11am
-
Late returns may be subject to a charge of £10 per hour unless agreed in advance.
7. Cleaning & Fuel

The van must be returned:

Clean inside
-
With the same fuel level as at the time of collection

A cleaning fee of £50 will apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.

8. Breakdowns and Emergencies
-
The van is maintained to a high standard, but in the event of a breakdown:

Contact us immediately.
-
Roadside assistance details will be provided at pickup.
-

We will not be liable for delays, cancellations, or additional costs resulting from breakdowns beyond our control.

9. Cancellations & Refunds
-
Within 1 day prior to departure:80%

Within 1 week prior to departure:50%

Within 2 weeks prior to departure:30%

Within 6 weeks prior to departure:15%

Within 10 weeks prior to departure:15%1

Between 10-24 weeks prior to departure:15%

More than 24 weeks prior to departure:10%

If the traveller cancels a confirmed Booking, they will be subject to the cancellation policy outlined in the Rental Agreement. The advertiser will receive any remaining cancellation costs after Goboony's service fee and booking costs have been deducted.

The deposit is fully refunded when the booking is cancelled

10. Liability & Indemnity

The renter is liable for all damage, loss, or theft not covered by their insurance.

The owner is not liable for any injury, death, or loss arising from use of the vehicle during the hire period.

11. Personal Belongings
-
The owner accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle during or after the hire period.

12. Agreement
By proceeding with the booking, the hirer agrees to all the terms outlined in this document. I also confirm that I have fully read through the guidebook and will follow the saefty instructions as outlined. A signed copy of this document will be provided and must be returned prior to the start of the hire period.
